(back pain + healthy spines)

Hatha yoga for back pain + healthy spines. Move your spine through flexion, extension, rotation and lateral flexion, moving the spine in all directions to help reduce pain. We will also explore different breathing techniques and exercises to help manage pain + discomfort.

Beginner

(hatha for beginners)

With an emphasis on the beginner yogi, we will move through the basic yoga asanas, connect with the breath, and balance with grace. Open to all levels of practice. This practice includes postures/movements from seated, table top, standing, laying on your belly/back. You should be able to comfortably get up and down from your mat.

Breathe + Beyond

(Pranayama) 

Moving beyond the yoga asanas, Breathe + Beyond will begin with some gentle stretching to prepare the body and lungs for a pranayama (breath) practice. This class could also include mantras and mudras to help strengthen focus + align with the different breath techniques.

Candlelight Restore

(Restorative)

In a candle lit atmosphere of dreamy stillness, this sacred restorative practice will combine deep breathing and supportive postures to help release stress and tension from the body + mind. Allowing your physical self time to rest; as we tap into, heal + align, the subtle body.

Embrace

(YIN + JOURNALING) 

Mindful yin poses will be matched with mindful reflection of inner knowing, learnings & dialogue. Truly a body, mind & spirit experience! Journals are so welcomed (as Katie will often be journaling along side you) This class meets each yogi as they are & is perfect for new & seasoned yoga students.

An energizing practice focusing on movement with breath. This class will have your heart rate elevated, and leave you feeling strong and confident. You should be able to confidently get up and down from the mat.

Gentle

(slow hatha) 

This all level class focuses on slow movements, stretching the body, and relieving any tension and stress that is residing in the muscles and joints. This class is done while seated, in table top, or laying on your mat.

Gentle + Meditate

(Gentle movement + MEDITATION) 

This class is a combination of breathing (pranayama) and meditation practices. Some gentle movement at the start of class will prepare the body as we move into deeper pranayama practices, as well as meditation to calm and soothe the mind.

Happy Hips

(hatha) 

Move through the basic yoga asanas with a focus on loosening tight hips. Open to all levels of practice. This practice includes postures/movements from seated, table top, standing, laying on your belly/back. You should be able to comfortably get up and down from your mat.

Hips + Heart Flow

(vinyasa)

An energizing practice focusing on movement with breath, opening the hips and the heart. This class will have your heart rate elevated, and leave you feeling strong and confident. You should be able to confidently get up and down from the mat.

Nidra

(MEDITATIVE SLEEP) 

An hour of pure bliss, join us on zoom from the comfort of your own home. Similar to a guided meditation, Yoga Nidra allows the body and mind to find calm and stillness. I suggest doing this class from your bed, and be ready for sleep in case you drift to sleep after class.

Reiki Restore

(Restorative + REIKI HEALING)

In an atmosphere of dreamy stillness, this sacred restorative practice will combine long holds in postures and hands on reiki healing. While you deeply rest and breathe, the instructor will make her way around the room giving one on one healing.

Release + Restore

(Yin + Restorative)

With the intention to release your muscles, stress and tension, this class will combine yin + restorative yoga. This practice includes longer holds in postures, some without props to allow the body to open, and others with props to allow the body to rest. A beautiful balance of releasing, and resting.

Restore

(Restorative)

In an atmosphere of dreamy stillness, this sacred restorative practice will combine deep breathing and supportive postures to help release stress and tension from the body + mind. Allowing your physical self time to rest; as we tap into, heal + align, the subtle body.

Renew

(slow flow + Restorative)

A class to totally renew your body + mind. Starting with a slow flow practice, and easing our way into restorative style poses, where the body is completely supported by props. The perfect balance of movement + rest for to end one week and start the next.

Self Guided Practice

(no instructor present)

Develop your own practice in a safe and comfortable space. Allow yourself to totally tune into your body, and move how it needs in the moment. This 60 minute class is your free time to practice as you please, you will have total use of the studio space + props. Maximum of 6 students.

Surrender

(yin)

This yin practice consists of a series of long held poses that will mainly work on the lower part of the body - hips, pelvis, inner thighs + lower spine. Poses are held to wait for the muscles to release and the body to soften. This class uses the assistance of a wall for support, comfort, and the ability to explore deeper variations of poses.
