DIY Bathroom Diffuser

Make your bathroom smell amazing. Super affordable. No fragrance. No chemicals.

If you’re a little oil obsessed like me, you probably have empty essential oil bottles kicking around the house. I started saving mine and figured that I could use them one day. Then I was sent this adorable idea for bathroom diffusers, and I couldn’t wait to make a couple.

We have them in the bathrooms at the studio, and they smell so good!

Step 1: peel off the labels and soak your bottles. The left over essential oil will help remove any sticky residue, I also added some thieves dish soap and let them sit over night.

In the morning I used some lemon essential oil and easily scraped away the sticky residue.

Step 2: Fill with essential oils and a carrier oil. I chose pine + orange for the essential oils and used 20 drops of each per bottle, then I topped up with fractioned coconut oil.

Step 3: add in reed diffuser sticks. I got mine from a local store in Whitby: Green + Frugal. I added 5 sticks per 15ml essential oil bottle.

The result is so cute! AND I have another DIY coming on how to use those 5ml essential oil bottles, so keep them stored away as well.
